”Clean room, friendly staff, bed was very soft”

”Really lovely room in a picturesque village. I parked right outside, but there's loads of parking of an evening.”

”We booked the Allium room. I can honestly say it’s the most beautifully decorated, comfortable bright room we have ever stayed in. Soaker tub in huge bathroom wonderful. Courtney and other staff very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast full English included. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.”

”Hotel is in good location but on a busy main road the A40 , lorries go passed day and night must have ear plugs , our room a deluxe was facing the main road , was small with shower in bath !! Breakfast was good .”

”Lots of character, authentic, old inn (original part built circa 1690) set in beautiful countryside. Some parking on site at rear, but one evening we had to park on the roadside. (It is a quiet road so OK.) There is a nice seating area in a garden in front of the Inn. Nice ambiance overall. Staff are very friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were good. The double room we stayed in was sufficiently quiet and of an acceptable size. Would definitely consider staying again if in the area.”

”Though I had paid for a super room , unfortunately the room was given was a box room with no fan . Hardly one person could walk around in the room”

”Mollies is brilliant! Minimalist, chic, great coffee, Dyson appliances, Cowshed soap - fab. Have stayed loads of times and it is reliably superb.”

”Had a lovely stay over the weekend and was well looked after - shout out to Ellie who made sure I was fed and watered after my long journey. The only downside - the bed in room 5 is particularly firm, and as a side sleeper has caused me discomfort in my hips. Obviously it’s total personal preference but a soft mattress topper might fix the issue. The room itself was beautiful though.”

”The Bell Inn was gorgeous it would have received a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the staffing issues. Housekeeping had failed to turn up that day and they hadn’t realised until nearly checking time so we never got into our room until 5.45. The staff dealt with this delay professionally and we were served with complimentary drinks. This caused us a bit of an issue as we had to leave at 6.15 for a meal elsewhere. Would definitely stay here again if in this area.”

”Beautiful hotel and wonderful breakfast included with stay. We stayed in the Old Justice room and despite not having air conditioning, we were able to open the windows to cool the room very comfortably. The room was beautiful and having the extra living space as a separate room made it feel so spacious and luxurious. Burford is a BEAUTIFUL town and we enjoyed wandering up and down the streets both evenings of our stay. This hotel is centrally located and very easy to walk the entire town in both...
