”We arrived early, but got access to the pools immediately, before the check-in. The outside pools were cold and not heated, but the inside pool was nicely warm. We hade an amazing Duplex Premier room. It was great. But the sleep was not great. The double bed had 3 pillows, 1 shared long "sausage pillow" and 2 flat single pillows. The single pillows were too flat, the "sausage pillow" not big enough and a combo was too high. I don't understand why they have this kind of combination,...

”This hotel was spot on. Everything was great. There was only two things that could be improved/changed. In the nice bathroom there was one wall without anything, so there would be space for rack where to dry the towels. No there is nowhere where we could dry them. The only place where we could hang them was inside the shower, where they got wet when using the great rain shower. And after the shower you need to step out wet and walk to the sink, where you can keep the towels waiting for...

”I stayed for 1 night just to get to the airport. From local train station, it´s a steep 25min walk uphill, under the sun, with your luggage. Water is provided in the lobby, but no complementary water in the room nor coffee/tea. I was not told about the vending machine downstairs for drinks and snacks - I only saw it on my way to breakfast. Breakfast was good. Room is clean and spacious. Bed a little cranky and pillows soft. Nothing to do there. The beach was advertised to be "8mins walk" away....

”The price was quite high compared to what was actually offered. We specifically reserved a room with a kitchenette, but after arrival we discovered that the kitchenette was not included and that we had to pay extra for it. Unfortunately, even after paying extra, the kitchenette was poorly equipped. There were not enough cups, spoons, plates, or other basic kitchen utensils. We also had no toilet paper in the room, which is unacceptable for a hotel stay. Overall, we felt that the price did not...

Lamaro Hotel Barcelona 5★ | Preferred Hotels & Resorts | Lifestyle Collection

"The room was mostly clean, there were some suspicious dirt on the bathroom wall. The bed and pillows were really comfortable and the AC in the room was great! Breakfast was good and the staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel itself was great but be wary of the area it's located in: el Raval is somewhat a sketchy neighborhood. I saw a lot of homeless people nearby the hotel and once even witnessed a fight between some homeless people."

The single pillows were too flat, the "sausage pillow" not big enough and a combo was too high. I don't understand why they have this kind of combination, instead of 4 single pillows, 2 softer and 2 harder. The breakfast was served 7:30-10:30. When we came at 9:30, they were out of many things, like orange juice, bacon and there was like one table spoon of scrambled eggs left. After some 20 min there came like 8 slices of soft fried bacon and some more scrambled eggs. Orange juice was never filled and also the peach juice was finished. When we left there were like 2 glasses of pineapple juice left. Good that we didn't booked the half board that I was about to book. If they would give some more attention to the breakfast, this would be great. The location is good. I will book again though. "
