”Affordable, spacious, quiet, clean and beautifully designed, I would recommend it to anyone! I am not a big fan of hostels as some people tend to be noisy and not respectful but that wasn't the case there and I slept like a baby during my 4 nights there! And the courtyard was really the cherry on the cake.”

”I was positively surprised by the Generator Rome. Originally we booked just one night last minute but ended up extending for 3 more. For the price we paid I doubt you'll find as nice a room anywhere in Rome. Our private room was pretty with modern bathroom. Great shower! Wifi worked well and all the staff members were friendly and helpful. It feels more like hotel than hostel. Many reviews mention the surrounding area. Yes, it's near the railway station and it's not the most beautiful part...

”Ilmainen illallinen oli todella iso plussa! Aamiainen oli ihan jees, painottuu toki italialle tyypillisesti kaikkeen epäterveelliseen ja makeaan. Suihkujen seinistä näki hyvin läpi, vessoja ei saanut lukkoon ja lukittava laatikko oli rikki, joten ei sovi ujoille tai varkaita pelkääville. Kuitenkin hotelli oli kokonaisuutena todella tyylikäs ja täynnä mukavia ihmisiä, joihin on helppo tutustua yhteisellä illallisella ja mulavissa oleskelutiloissa. Tykkäsin!”

”The staff was nice and the location of the hotel was perfect. The hotel itself however, was worth 1,5 starts instead of three. The room smelled stuffy and it was very hot. The floors were dusty and looked like they had not been vacuumed in a long while. The bathroom was clean, but we came across a cockroach our second night in there. The breakfast was mostly sweet pastries, not very nutritious. A staff member brought coffee to the table, which was a plus. ”

”This place is absolutely disgusting. It’s falling apart, don’t be fooled by the pictures. The bathroom is a room with a few showers that is shared by the entire floor, it was so dirty, wet and gross that I didn’t even want to step in it. I was placed in a room with other 4 big men and the vibe in the entire place was just shady. At night it was impossible to sleep, you can hear every little thing from the entire property. The bed and pillow are just plain horrible, the “lamp” was just a hanging...

”We had three bedroom’s bungalow for a family of parents and two small kids. The bungalow was okay, however there were a lot of ants also in the kitchen. The floor was not that clean and the smell in the toilet was not fresh at all (we asked a new cleaning but the smell returned). The floor had stubborn dirt so would have required some power cleaning. ”Siisti ja rauhallinen hotelli lähellä Vatikaania. Metropysäkille vähän matkaa mutta bussilla pääsee mukavan lähelle. Yläkerran baarissa piti olla häppy hour mutta meiltä otettiin kyllä kahdesta teemukista täysi hinta. Menisin toistekkin.Aamupala oli ihan ok.”
