”Stayed at INNSiDE by Meliá Newcastle and it absolutely delivers. Prime Quayside location, slick modern rooms, and everything just works, clean, comfortable, and well thought out. The complimentary minibar is a nice touch and the river views are an absolute bonus. Service is spot on, friendly, efficient, no fuss. Food at Gino D’Acampo Newcastle is genuinely very good and rounded off my stay nicely. Simple: great hotel, no weak points, would 100% stay again.”

”Very spacious room. Bed could have been a little more comfortable but was adequate. Close to many walkable sites. The room access cards kept failing once or twice a day which was annoying but all the staff were helpful and friendly. Laundry was a pain as it was very expensive and had to be provided to them by 8am if you wanted it back the same day. We took an Uber to a coin laundry and it took an hour and was cheaper including the cost of the Uber there and back”

”Lovely hotel , staff very friendly room had everything we needed and tastefully decorated . Breakfast great and freshly cooked on order. Would have been nice touch to have had complimentary biscuits with our tea and coffee supply in our room like other hotel chains but apart from that we had a wonderful stay and will return.”

”For me the hotel represents good value. I like the location by the river and there are plenty of places to eat and drink at within a 10 minute walk. The staff are great, so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style but as with all buffets, it’s in the timing. Nice bar which we used as well. Not our first stay here and won’t be the last.”

”We stayed for one week due to a conference trip. - The biggest negative comes from the very stinking room. Even though the air conditioning was effective you can't air the room as windows don't open. All the clothes smell really bad now - The bed very noisy and uncomfortable. Anytime anyone moved in the bed it made a loud noise, woke up for that several times in the night, also had very uncomfortable pillows. - The sheets had stains - Not noise proof room as advertised in the room description!...
