”Amazing stay at Cameron House. We were given a room upgrade to a suite on arrival and had wonderful views over the loch. Have always loved staying here in the past but hadn’t visited since the reopening. We were thrilled to be back and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were blessed with fabulous sunshine all weekend too. ”

”The hotel review rating is overrated in my opinion. The hallway to our room smelled aweful. The carpet in the room was stained a lot and seemed not been vacuumed. There were dark hair on the bedding and pillow. The restroom had many dark spots between the tiles especially at the shower. Everything seemed outdated. The parking infront of the entrance was good though. The breakfast was not good at all either. Food tasted bland and bacon was cold. Nothing fresh of vegetables or fruits. ”

”We book the cabins frequently, every 6 months, 4 of us. The cabins now seem to be getting a bit tired looking. Needing a spruce up, some painting, maintenance. In our cabin this time there was a small oil heater as the fire was broken. We reported it so that maybe the next booking could have a nice fire. The coffee machine was also broke and we reported this as well. When we took the “plastic” glasses from the cupboard one had lipstick marks on it. We reported this too and asked for glass wine...

”Staff are brilliant here. Tam the chef makes tasty meals ,can recommend the carvery for an evening meal and the pancakes at breakfast were yummy. Natasha served breakfast, she's a breath of fresh air, happy and cheerful in the morning, but all the staff are great. The tables could do with a bit of TLC it brings the overall look down a bit. Bedrooms are clean and comfy beds , tea ,coffee ,milk ”

”Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend St.Leonards Guest House. Lovely room, quirky and very well presented, exceptionally clean and a comfortable bed. Great having the fridge in the room with fresh milk for tea and coffee. Beautiful selection for breakfast. The host Keith was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond during our stay. We would stay here again without hesitation.”
