”This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn. Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. ”My daughter and I stayed the night before a baton competition. Breakfast was nice and early, served efficiently and very tasty. But the room was absolutely amazing. It felt more of a suit than a room. The bed was huge and comfy and we watched a movie on the sofa. Overall I would stay again. I got an excellent deal but the full price is very reasonable for the quality of the accommodation. ”

”Brilliant view to the roof of the hotel with a massive cooling fan making noise all night. Not so nice actually. Restaurant is complicated and for a tourist a bit uncomfortable. The staff doesn't really make contact with you and you don't know when to order, where to order, how to pay etc. It's a time machine. Stuck somewhere in 90's /2000. But clean at least and location is nice.”
