Contacted me prior to arrival to check if I needed anything or information which made me feel confident about the stay beforehand, was very welcoming and personable and I felt genuine care about me and my stay at Domo. Couldn’t ask for anything more from a host and something which is rare in hotels in my experience.”

”A very last minute stay after being let down by another property. The reception staff went above and beyond. Room was clean and had the most comfortable bed I've experienced in a hotel. We didnt have time to use the pool etc but did dine in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Food was lovely with gluten free options. Would definitely stay again.”

”The rooms were very inexpensive. They were very small. But clean and the beds were a lot more comfortable than most of the beds I’m finding in the UK. The bathrooms and kitchen were meticulously clean and organized. The kitchen had and oven, stove, microwave, coffee makers and every utensil, pot, pan, or sheet I’d need to cook. The only down side is there’s no plates, bowls to put my food in. I had to eat the food out of the pans I cooked them in. And the can opener doesn’t work. But those are...

”Good parking, no heating in room, was very cold, and electric heater on the wall didn’t work, damp around the window, only 1 thin hard pillow each on the bed. Staff were friendly on arrival.”

”This is our second stay at the Talbot, first was late summer 2024. Atm, the pub part of the hotel is closed and meals were not offered. Local gossip said the hotel was being used for asylum/immigrants, I saw no evidence of this and the clients seemed to be mostly couples and businesses. Dad and I stayed in a twin room, it had a large shower, no bath, desk, tv (not in hotel mode so streaming stick was easy to use), slightly larger than sister’s double.
