”It rains quite often, so there is always water in the waterfalls, which are quite magnificent. You can handfeed toucans and hummingbirds in the park. In the hotel room's balcony there is a hummingbird feeder so that you can watch them very close. The tour to volcano Poas was a disappointment. The staff advised us to reserve the tour on a previous day, when you have no idea about the weather in the mountain. We didn't see anything there.”

”It was my husband and I, first time visiting Costa Rica and it won't be our last. I would definitely recommend Hotel Pibi Boreal. It's a family owned hotel. You are treated very well from the time you get picked up. The property is a peaceful and tropical atmosphere. If that's what you love then, this would definitely be the place. ”Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, and nice clean room with huge comfortable bed. It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. Spotty Wifi and the shower just wouldn't get hot 😕.
