”Friendly staff, lovely clean room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Hot shower, fridge, coffee and milk frappe with complementary biscuits every day, beach/pool towels. Fresh water available in the lobby with percolated coffee. Kitchen available to use with a microwave, toaster and kettle. We bought our own breakfast but there was a cafe just across the road. Location very good for walking to lots of restaurants. Free cycles available but as we had a car no need to use. We drove to Jaguar...

”The area outside isn’t glamorous, but when you inside these enormous wooden doors, it’s incredibly impressive how they used fauna to create a truly unique atmosphere. What I REALLY liked was walking a block towards the water and there was an incredibly charming street of endless restaurants and cafe’s which contrasts the main road through town and the hoity toity-ness of the high end hotel scene. It felt super comfortable and I am VERY glad I stayed at this hotel.”

”We had a lovely time at Una vida. We had reserved the one bedroom suite via Expedia in which photographs had shown a bathtub however our suite did not have a bathtub. We inquired with the staff and the following day we were switched to another one bedroom suite which did have both the shower and a bath as we had been looking forward to. Both of the ladies that worked the front desk were wonderful in helping us out with several things, such as recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops, and most importantly for us, upon checking out, ordered us a taxi to our next destination and negotiated a set price for us to pay. If you’ve done any research regarding Tulum taxis, then you’ve heard the horror stories. We would definitely consider a return to this hotel for another visit in the future. ”
