”Cute boutique hotel in Merida. Pros: clean, shower with hot water (although limited), AC, comfy bed and quiet neighborhood, double sink/mirrors, parking right in front of hotel, staff is friendly and helpful with suggestions, nearby Mercado Santiago, reliable WiFi Cons: Johannes bar &restaurant, food and drinks were just okay. I would definitely stay here again, just eat and drink out.”

”A peaceful, comfortable place where you can have your own peace.”

”Absolutely a gem of a hotel. From the moment we arrived, to when we left it was a pleasure to stay here. Gorgeous space, fantastic staff and such friendly owners. From their lovely honour system at their 24 hour self serve bar to their unique fabulous breakfast, we will always stay at the Diplomat Boutique Hotel when in Merida. We can't rate it high enough. The owners, Sarah and Neil are amazing hosts!”

”Very nice small boutique hotel in the centre of Merida. Staff was very helpful and attentive. I can highly recommend this hotel.”

”The location is excellent — just a 15-minute walk to the city center and several main attractions, which makes it very convenient to get around without needing transportation. Overall, the place has great potential due to its prime location and the owner’s attentive service. However, it requires better supervision and maintenance to provide a more comfortable and consistent experience for guests.”

”Nice location, very friendly staff. Unique building, however if you compare the pictures on hotels.com or their website you do not guess that their ”suite” is in fact a tiny room without windows. In the pics the rooms look huge and they all happen to show a view from a window.”

”Amazing place, super recommended, amenities and people are amazing, and the food really good, I’m coming back with the rest of the family”

”Muy recomendable lugar.”

”Un excelente lugar es mi segunda vez y el personal de 10!!!!”

”Un lugar hermoso para disfrutar unos días en el centro de Mérida con diversos espacios para estar tranquilos.”

”Really beautiful small hotel in perfect location for city sightseeing. Staff very helpful in organising tours and very good breakfast included. Would definitely return.”

”Beautiful hotel.”

”Ya muy viejo y pasto artificial”

”El agua caliente era deficiente, la cama era muy dura, y la conexión a Internet era lento en la noche. Era visible en pocos sitios que la pintura se estaba despegando y necesita reparación.”
