”We enjoyed the cottage! Had a nice yard to play in and all that we needed inside. Beds were comfortable. The location was excellent; a quick walk into town. ”

”Amazing! We lived in Charlevoix 55 yrs ago as newlyweds in the Coast Guard. Husband spoke with Earl Young to rent the Half House. Couldn’t afford at 150 mo!!! ! So this was soo fun. Beach down the hill, town is walk able everywhere. It’s pretty much original so enjoy the history of it!!! We’ll be back!”

”Charming cottage within walking distance of Alden Michigan. The place was VERY clean and the kitchen well stocked with all needed utensils and kitchen items!! Bathrooms VERY clean as well and plenty of sitting areas for guests. We had 2 nights with 11 guests and everyone had a bed and extra bedding was provided! Great dock with ample deck chairs and a mooring buoy which held our 24’ master craft boat all week long! ”

”Older cottage that has been restored very nicely. Bedrooms were large and comfortable. The outside was very spacious and soooo quite. You can walk to the beach and yet was very close to Charlevoix. Gerry was a great host and saw to our every need.Thanks”

”This was the perfect escape from our busy lives. My adult daughter and granddaughter was able to come along with my mom and our other kiddos so the extra bathrooms was so nice and the flow of the home. It was easy walking distance to town. Just minutes away. The town is so cute and we would definitely go back. ”

”From the curb you might think there's no way its as big as listed. The house goes deep. Plenty of room on the main floor for entertaining with almost all bedrooms upstairs. Clean, plenty of cooking utensils and sil erware. Hosts are quick to respond. Perfect for our group.”

Individual a/c units in each living space were fantastic. Comfortable furniture & bedding. Gas grill & washer/dryer were a bonus. The dock was a great spot to moor our boat and enjoy a cup of coffee/glass of wine.”
