”This property was absolutely gorgeous! The bay villa we stayed in had amazing views. It was clean and well maintained. The A/C worked great, plenty of hot water for our family of four, and plenty of room for my family to spread out. It was quiet and pleasant the entire time. We had a wonderful stay - I highly recommend the Kapalua Villas!”

”Our ocean front 1 bedroom with loft was absolutely perfect. We booked this room for the last few days of our trip.We stood the first 5 days at a “fancy resort”,needless to say this was totally worth the price and location. We will be back in December and definitely be booking Napili Sunset for the majority of our stay. Just as short walk out to the water. ”

”Hotelli oli hieno. Asuimme merinäköalahuoneistossa Keaka 2 rakennuksessa, joten hoidimne aamiaisen itse. Kaikki toimi hyvin ja käytimme pesulaakin. Ravintola Beach house oli pettymys. Palvelu ei ollut kohdallaan. Mutta ympäristöstä löytyi muita vaihtoehtoja. Golf kenttä Kapalua Bay kävelymatkan päässä. Siellä hyvä ravintola. Loistava ravintola löytyy Plantation kentältä. ”

”You don't absolutely need a car for Howzit Maui, but it's really helpful. The hostel arranges daily tours and activities, but if you don't make it onto the sign up sheet, then you need to make your own arrangements. There are plenty of people who have car rentals, so making alternate plans isn't a big deal. There are six shared bathrooms (with showers) and a seventh just for women. ”We absolutely loved getting to use this car. The hosts were extremely helpful with providing extra blankets and a tarp since the weather mentioned rain. We love how organized the trunk was with the camping gear. It is a tight squeeze back there, so not many more items would fit. Plenty of enough space for 2 people, since we used the backseat for our luggage. It would be a bit more difficult with more than 2. Check-in process was a bit difficult only because on the listing it said they can meet...

”This is a great cozy property right on the Napili beach. You can literally throw a rock in the ocean from the balcony. Ocean is so close that you will not miss a swimming pool. The services were excellent. Rooms were very clean. All amenities were provided in the room to cook if you prefer to do so. I'll happily go back again. ”

Facility and service falling apart
"A very underwhelming experience. A property whose glory days are behind it. We got a message a few days in advance that the air conditioning will be out of order until June. Not a big deal, but it left a sour taste that the attendant in check-in told us "I just heard that the air conditioniong in your room is out of order". Later we found out that also the laundry room and the gym were out of order as they had experienced a fire of the electricity system. Lack of transperency is disappointing. We stayed 4 nights, and were told there would be cleaning service only every 3 days. After 3 nights the room was not done. I asked about it and the attendant promised to have it done. No-one ever came and no-one ever said anything about it. When I checked out I mentioned it and the answer was literally a shrug. No-one seems to care about anything. I´ve been trying to think of something positive to say. Let´s go with that the butterfish in the restaurant was tasty."
