”Our room was clean, the staff was great, and our bed was comfortable. Knowing this was a newer property, we were surprised to find that the bathroom door didn't close properly, there was a big corner chip out of the bathroom mirror, the adhesive-backed lotion dispenser had fallen off the textured wall, and one of the shades did not operate well.”

”The pool and spa area were lovely. The hotel is dated and guest rooms and bathrooms are old. There are very few food options in the hotel or around the area. There is very little information available at check in about the food options as well. We were surprised to find out the only restaurant on premises closed at 7pm.”

”The room was clean and adequate Just very old. You could not get to the sink in the bathroom unless you went all the way in and shut the door. Very small kind of like staying in an old dorm. The area is literally in the middle of nowhere and very dark without good lighting at nite. No porch light to find your way at the front of the building either. I know I sound critical which I don’t like to be. They are great people and the area is beautiful. However, I would most likely not stay...

”Everything was fantastic as was every staff member I met while there. One thing for someone to be aware of is that the establishment is on the corner of the main 2 streets in Lexington. So if you are bothered by traffic noise, I would suggest asking for a room not on the street if possible. It was not bad during my stay, but I was there during the off season. My room was directly above where the cars stop at the intersection. A lot of traffic in peak season could be an issue for some...
