Quick retreat.

The house was great for 4 couples with plans to eat out and mostly being out. Kitchens were usable but small for dining. Sitting areas were very nice. Beds were super comfortable. Bathrooms were tight. Location was fantastic. This worked for our 4 night stay to celebrate a birthday on the town and sleep well at night. We would rent from here again.

Great location for groups, busy street

Overall the location and house was great for a girls trip with cousins and sisters. The street was busy and old window didn’t keep much late night noise out. Concierge service non-responsive to slow draining sinks, dirty linens and pet hair downstairs (obviously someone had a dog previously in one room) and to helping with a car blocking the driveway. Expected a bit more response and support with the management service for the price.

Great Friends Gathering Place.

We loved this house. Sitting on the porch with old friends as we watched Charleston activity was the best. We recommend more porch chairs, so living room chairs stay inside. Suggest you check the bathroom floor of the hall bathroom on first floor.

Bachelorette weekend = success!!

I booked this location for a bachelorette weekend for my sister with 11 girls. The residence has the old charm and character of a Charleston home. The number of bathrooms between both floors helped to be able to have enough space for us all to shower and get ready. I few issues we found were: - the lights flickered in the downstairs main hall bathroom - the pull out couch in the main downstairs living room was broken and could not Be used as a bed (without this we only had sleeping areas for 10 but there was always someone who ended up just sleeping on the couch without it pulled out as a bed) - the water pressure in the upstairs bathrooms was supposedly not great and many girls ended up showering in the main hall bathroom downstairs. The location was so perfect!! We were across the street from Warehouse. A bar and restaurant that turns into a nightclub after 10. This was probably our favorite part since we could make this the last stop of the night on our bar crawls or nights out and just stumble home without having to catch an Uber. The executive chef also competed on Chopped! The patios and porches of the house were loved by all, but the mosquitoes at night will get you. Make sure to pack bug spray for sitting out on the porch late at night. We also wished there was ice or an ice machine in the downstairs kitchen but that was easily fixed with just buying a bag of ice. The thermostat was set to 74 which is higher than I set it at home but was honestly the perfect temperature, despite the summer heat. Overall we loved the location! The price was higher than we liked and I noticed the price went up over $300 after I started looking at locations in January but was much cheaper on Homeaway than AirBnb. Also the concierge staff and housekeeping that graciously delivered extra towels was by far the best service I’ve got from a home rental service. The emails were always welcome ahead of the trip and had all the details needed (other than being able to find extra towels in the house). We were able to send a text and got extra towels for our group. So thank you for the easy booking and outstanding coincerge service! As well as the ability for early checkin for our group!

Fabulous property! Great location!

Wonderful stay at Sweetgrass! The apartments were perfect - well decorated, comfortable beds, ample towels and linens. Overall, the space couldn't have been better. It is located at the top of the main street - really walkable to most anything and everything you'd want to do in downtown Charleston (30MIN walk to Rainbow Row, 5MIN walk to tons of great bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.). The team at Stay Duvet were also fabulous - really helpful coordinating receiving 3 boxes we had shipped in advance of our stay. I'd HIGHLY recommend this space to anyone looking to enjoy Charleston.

Wonderful Graduation Weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend at Duvet's Sweetgrass home. We called on our arrival day and they allowed us to come early in the afternoon. This was extremely helpful since we wanted to get all the groceries in the house before the entire family arrived. There was nine of us. It was a wonderful graduation weekend for my daughter who was graduating from College of Charleston. We were in a great location. We could Uber anywhere. The home had everything...we were able to bbq and make breakfasts in the morning. It was so nice to have all of us under one roof. There was 9 of us and we had plenty of room. It was the first time Grandpa stayed in a home instead of a hotel and he was in heaven. He could have his privacy as well as join the crowd when he wanted. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home! I would recommend Duvet to anyone who is going to Charleston!

Amazing location(walking distance to everything), easy check in and out. Property managers went above and beyond to help answer questions and make sure we were comfortable. Would definitely recommend this house for large groups!

nice house - good location

Nice house - good location - would consider staying here again some issues - - parking VERY tight - dishwasher would not work - hot water in one of the bathrooms was turned off for some reason - thermostat would default to settings that were not as instructed - could by pass for a few hours but they would default again - upstairs thermostat was stuck and could not be adjusted so it was VERY cold - had to have service call to repair

The house was very clean and functional. Perfect location for a group of girls to explore the city.

A group of eleven of us came to Charleston for a bachelorette weekend, and this house was perfect for our group. The split level home made it easy for everyone to have their own space, but be able to gather and socialize together. We really enjoyed the outdoor space as well. We didn't realize how close we were to King Street, which made it nice to walk to local bars and restaurants. Overall we were very pleased with our stay.

Great property for large parties

We rented the FULL house. There is a bottom apartment/house and top apartment/house. Very cute decorations, easy to get your own space and privacy when needed. Fully functioning kitchens that are stocked. Concierge is prompt to respond. The only thing that was different was when we arrived it was a little stuffy (but there was a hurricane recently, so that could have been it). LOVE THE LOCATION! Easy to get to and there was even a driveway for parking. Would recommend!

Great Location / Great Features

We rented both the upstairs and downstairs units. Enjoyed having 2 front porches and a nice back deck to enjoy the eclipse. The house is conveniently located within walking distance of the restaurants and shops on King Street. The interior renovation is very nice. I think the outside areas are still under renovation. We would rent this property again.

Incredible Stay for Girls Weekend

This property is the perfect stay away from home. Dave and the Duvet team are extremely attentive from the moment you book your reservation, to the moment you vacate the property. The two floor home is gorgeous, spacious and full of everything we could need. We made dinner each night and enjoyed it upstairs in the living room with all the flat ware available! With two fridges we had plenty of space to keep our drinks cold and healthy snacks! We were about a 4.5 minute walk away from king street if that and it was the perfect spot to start our scavenger hunt. We really didn't need to uber. but to the grocery store (which we could have had delivered) and the marina! The beds are super comfy, even the couches. The 4 full bathrooms made our stay even better, especially maintaining hot and powerful water streams. Ladies - you know how important this is when you are going out on the town! The front and back porches have seating and make it fun to spend time outside. All around, I would absolutely recommend this property for anyone looking for a great Charleston stay!
