”Wonderful! Nice, peaceful Chateau hotel with big rooms, nice breakfast and dinner! Just 5 miles from town and not far for our visits to Chenonceaux and Chambord Chateau’s. Perfect location for a day slower pace on our adventurous 15 European vacation.”

”We spent a night with my wife in the summer in this beautiful chateau in the middle of French countryside. My wife especially loved it: the service was first class, rooms were clean and spacious and the dinner we had at the hotel was superb with excellent views to the valley. Breakfast also was the best we had on our trip. The building itself is very beautiful small little castle and the place all in all very relaxing. I could not recommend more this place and it was a shame we did not stay...

”Hotels.com did not request advance payment of 30%, but the hotel insisted it. After all we were invoiced that amount. We had to proof the payment done at the hotel, because Chissay hotel front desk did not have info of our downpayment (we sent several reminder e-mails and one phone call to get confirmation of the pre payment). ”We stayed at Le Grand Monarque, Azay-le-Rideau for 3 nights. Everything was great: central location, large room, very quiet and they have a parking location near by. All staff at the reception was wonderful but I would like to give our special thanks to Isabelle.
