”This was the most cosy and well equipped house we ever stayed in! So much care was taken to ensure we had everything we needed! Very tastefully renovated in a quiet little hamlet, near many, very beautiful places! We visited lots of them: castles of Ussé, Chinon, Azay, l'Islette, a true gem! A week wasn't long enough! We were only with the 2 of us but if you come with more people, take note that there is only one bedroom with a door and that you have to pass the (very beautiful) open space with...

”Property homely, comfortable and peaceful. Adjoining hosts wine growing & tasting business sampling is a must. Plenty of opportunities to walk around the area/vineyards, or take trips to the many fairly close château. The hosts are friendly mostly only French spoken, but we were able to communicate with a few words. A very good place to stay.”

”We had a great family reunion of 3 generations - 9 adults, 3 teenagers and a dog! First impressions was the place is huge, (and the air con was a great benefit.) We picked this house because of the outdoor dining and cooking facilities- the round table was a big plus for family dinners - we made pizzas! ”Lovely two-week springtime stay, seeing nature in and around the attractive small lake change in front of our eyes. We pretty much had the site to ourselves - there’s an adjoining gite but it’s discretely separate. WiFi was installed whilst we were there; a nice bonus we didn’t expect. Very well equipped, clean and with wonderful, caring owners. Thanks for the tasty home-made jams and local wine. Well situated for visiting the area. Our big dog had fun too. Recommended!”
