”Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings however the decor is very tired. The staff were very friendly and hospitable and the leisure facilities were good. There is a very limited food menu on offer in the bar and the quality of the food was mediocre at best.”

”The room was clean but small, particularly as it was for 3 people. Luckily only two of us but still very tight. No water in the room, no room service for the price we paid I would expect more from it! The breakfast was poor and very basic but Very nice hotel grounds and surroundings. No lift which is difficult if you have lots of bags and are on upper floors.”

”The room is from the 1980's dust and all!!!
The reception staff member I met was so rude and tried to charge me more than the advertised price.
The room was freezing cold, then was given a unsafe heater.
I ordered food from the restaurant, when it came out it had ingredients not mentioned on the menu, that i am intolerant to, so I sent back and replaced with something else, they then tried to charge me for the new meal, I said thats ok could you bring the previous plate out, as if i had paid...

”One night stay for black sabbath concert. My bag were brought already in my room when i arrived after the concert. Very helpful and friendly staff. Bit far away from birmingham centre”
