Situated in the heart of the Essex countryside, yet by train, Liverpool Street to South Woodham Ferrers is 47 mins & then 10 mins in a cab). Distant views over the Blackwater Estuary & local views over the New Hall Wine Estate, the property is on the edge of the village of Purleigh, about 10 minutes’ walk from an historic pub (The Bell) & shop, where you can pick up supplies. The location is also just next to the 45-mile St Peter’s Way footpath and there is a bus link with the town of Maldon.

Set in 10 acres of rolling countryside and horse paddocks, Hilltop Shepherd's hut features include:

The owner will meet and greet to show you around and how everything works.

Our shepherd's hut is approximately 250 metres from the parking area, along a grass track, part of which is up an incline. So a reasonable level of mobility and suitable footwear is required.
