Disappointing and Uncomfortable Stay – Serious Hygiene Issues
I stayed at this hotel for a very short overnight trip, arriving around 7:00 PM and departing at 5:00 AM. Since it was a brief stay, all I was looking for was a clean, comfortable room where I could relax and get some rest.
On arrival, the lobby felt pleasant and the reception staff were polite. I requested a nice room, mentioning it was a short stay, and was told I would be upgraded to a suite, which initially sounded thoughtful. Two courteous staff members escorted us to the suite located in a different building.
Unfortunately, the experience declined immediately upon entering the room. The suite had no windows at all, making the room feel extremely dark, damp, and stuffy, with no natural light or fresh air.
The bathroom looked decent at first glance, but multiple hygiene issues stood out:
1) The comb provided was empty inside the packaging
2) The hand shower was not working, forcing me to wet my hair despite not wanting to
3) There were stray hairs on the shower fixture, which was quite unpleasant
After showering and going to bed, I experienced intense itching all over my body and could not sleep. Around 3:00 AM, I turned on the lights and was shocked to find bed bugs on the bed.
At that point, I decided it was best to leave the hotel immediately. I took another shower, packed up, and checked out early to go to the airport and wait there instead. The free airport transfer was convenient.
