”Very basic motel near IU campus and sports complexes. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The parking lot and outside was well-maintained and brightly lit. No amenities that we saw, but we were only here for one evening and only used the room to shower and sleep. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and pleasant. I would stay here again. ”

”In all honesty, the value was great. It is an older hotel with well maintained reception and rooms. Very clean! The grounds could use a bit of a clean up. All in all, for the price a great value!”

”The place was so nice! It had some charm to it, which I really liked. Very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Fireplace was gas lit. Beds are firmer than I prefer but still ok. I enjoyed my stay and Id come again.”

”Cute, comfortable, quiet room with easy access to all of downtown Bloomington and Kirkwood Ave. Coffee in the Poindexter Cafe was delicious... Grateful for that, because the in room coffee option wasn't great for such an overall quality hotel. ”

”The staff was extremely dismissive and unprofessional during our stay regarding 2 separate issues. First the tub didn’t drain, and by the end of a shower was filled halfway. Besides being unsanitary, showers need to be staggered as it took a minimum of 1/2 hour to drain. I approached the desk staff multiple times, along with the cleaning staff regarding having it addressed. It never was, and I mentioned it again when we checked out. Clearly they did not care. Also, the room was suppose to...

”The property is very unique and the staff is excellent. We enjoyed our 1 bedroom cottage “cloud nine”.”

”The front desk staff is kind and cheerful. The room is quiet and comfortable. The view from the upper floors is lovely - you can see in the tree tops and neighborhood's. This is a place good to stay and to return to. The location offers walks into the courthouse square and campus.”

”You get what you pay for and this is the cheaper option compared to the Holiday Inn next door. Very basic. Mirror was cracked, paint chipping from the cheap furniture piece in the bathroom. Breakfast was the minimum eggs sausage biscuits waffle maker etc. Bananas the only fruit. I was on my own and was fine but I would not bring my wife to this one.”
