”Not what I expected. The room itself was nice and the environment guite cute but two major issues with the stay. 1. The room temperature must`ve been above 30 degrees (even if the temperature outside was +15). Room facing the street so opening the window felt like sleeping on the street. Not a good choice if you need to get some proper rest.”

”Room was dirty, scuffed paintwork, stained carpet, skirting boards thick with grime and dust, cobwebs and dead bugs (in the cobwebs) on the ceiling. Not to mention the previous guests dirty towels and sheets were left in a heap in the middle of the floor. At £200 per night excluding breakfast I expect much much better. Very disappointing.”

”The Railway Inn is a small hotel, over a pub that closes reasonably early and literally next to the train lines. The barkeep is also the hotel staff and the breakfast cook. She is terrific and lively. My room was on the second floor - spacious with two excellent twin beds, comfortable bedding and kettle, cookies, etc. They would like entry by 22.00 which I did not see in the ad, so I arrived later and she directed me to reach my room, which she had left open. The breakfast is cooked to order...
