”From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly, after a 3 and half hour journey we had a lovely roast dinner and a beer which went down very well. We were then shown our room which was perfect, and matched the quaint pub, the bed was comfortable. tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, & water readily available, en-suite with shower and t.v. Breakfast was lovely all fresh and local produce. Final evening we had a lovely meal which coincided with my husbands birthday, the dessert came out...

”Pretty faultless even without a window! The hotel had a great feel to it. Reception had a cool vibe and one evening they had a cheese and wine evening. Very central. Clean. Long stay parking less than 10 mins away. I'd definately stay again. Bravo to the team running the place 👏👏👏”

”We had travelled about 190 miles for a wedding, arriving about 12:30 and looking for suitable facilities to change in, only to be offered the use of the disabled toilet. Far from ideal, but we managed. The room like the hotel looked dated, with only 1 packet of biscuits for the 2 of us, only bathroom amenities was a small round of hand soap, a pump dispenser of soap and shampoo over the bath, and the shower wasn't up to much either. The location and views were really nice. ”

”Great little pub with large outside seating area. Pizza night Fridays & very nice too. Room very comfy a little warm being at the top of the building but had a good air con fan. Probably not a common problem in this part of the world!!!”

”We had such a lovely weekend at the Old Bell Hotel. The staff is so warm and friendly which definitely made our stay. The property itself is very uniquely decorated and had so much character and charm. The staff accommodated our every need and our room (we booked a junior master) was spacious, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The breakfast was also delicious! ”
