”Best Western Lake Lucille is a very lovely property. The staff were all very friendly with dining tips, activity ideas and snacks. The hot breakfast was great and sent us off for the day with treats for snacking. Our lake view room was standard in size but had a beautiful view of the lake and freshly manicured property. ”We had to fly out of Anchorage the next day, but the last thing we wanted to do was end a wonderful Alaskan vacation in the middle of the city, so we stayed at Pioneer Ridge B&B and it was extraordinary. Setting and view were spectacular. Lots of eye candy all over the lodge, Our room was beautiful and very comfortable and the lemon blueberry pancakes in the morning are to die for. Thoroughly recommend this peaceful, beautiful stay.”

Furniture and furnishings are right out of designer magazines, and all is coordinated and comfortable. No excess. No clutter. But lots of it and all fits together. ”It was a great location, we took advantage of the airport shuttle, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and the bed was super comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for a nice shower after a long day of travel. The only negative about our stay was how much noise we could hear through the walls. Our room was adjacent to a busy road and we could hear every car that went by and every conversation outside our room.”

”I had insurance on the reservation. It was made in error and I tried to cancel and couldn’t cancel either night. A 500 rip off. Don’t stay here they don’t keep their word.”

”Room was quite rundown. Weather was sunny and room was hot all night long, no aircon. I guess room was so clean as possible, but feeling was not comfortable. Water was a real issue, hot water from all taps, very difficult to find cool shower temperature.”

”Due to key card issues, the room was unlocked and the door ajar at arrival. The room had musty odor which we were able to mitigate somewhat with the AC and one of the window locks was broken so the window didn't close tight. There was only 1 bed and we were offered to purchase a roll away cot for the night if needed.”

”The property is old and not maintained. The front desk people didn’t know or care about anything, they were rude and not helpful. When we asked for towels was told when I have time I’ll try and find some! One of the worst, way overpriced hotels going!”

”I think the property was friendly to pets. It had a lot of room in the front & back yard, along with a lot of space in the living room & kitchen. The bed is big, so your pet could definitely sleep with you on it or they could go into the guest bedroom too. There is a massage chair that was definitely relaxing & the place was clean”
