”We really enjoyed our stay at Lords of the Manor. The house is absolutely beautiful and the ground surrounding it are classic picturesque countryside. Lovely walk through upper and lower slaughter. We had dinner at the restaurant which was a bit too fancy and pricey for our tastes but the staff were lovely and very kind. The room was wonderful for the night and I would recommend it!”

”We had a family room and the additional bedroom really helped with space. The accommodation is very well located as it is on a quiet road, but also very handy for the Arlington Row as well as a lovely pub called the Catherine Wheel. The food by Ricardo was lovely. The granola was a particular favourite amongst the family. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate returning in future!”

”We had a lovely large room and en-suite bathroom at Laurel House. Our bed was very comfortable and the room had tea making facilities also. Our hosts Gilly and Hugh provided a wide range of choices for breakfast including healthy options and fresh fruit. The dining room overlooks a lovely garden and off-street parking was available. The house is within walking distance of the town centre, though we are not fast walkers so usually took about 25mins.”
