”I have stayed at the Minster Hotel before the rooms are beautiful breakfast plentiful and variety of fresh yogurt grapefuit apple cereals plus a hearty english breakfast cooked to order and staff very accommodating and friendly. The stairs are my only issue and i suggest u try and get a room on a lower level but other than that a fantastic hotel close to all that York has to offer. ”

”The staff were very helpful & friendly. The hotel rooms are a bit dated but very clean and the bed very comfortable. The dressing table has no lamp or light nearby, so it is hard to get ready, appying make up as the bathroom light isn't great either. There is a pub across the road which played loud music until 2am plus lots of noise outside first thing because of the main road. Saying that, we enjoyed our stay . The hotel is in a great location close to the sites if you don't mind the noise....

”Nice and modern hotel close to the centre and key locations. Only negative aspect was the really loud music playing in the lobby, which makes it quite annoying entrance everytime you return to the hotel. Luckily the sound insulation is top class and you can’t hear the music - or anything else for that matter - in the rooms. ”
