”Huikean hyvä pieni hotelli, jossa ystävällinen ja avulias isäntäpariskunta asui samassa rakennuksessa. Tästä syystä palvelu toimii hyvin lähes 24/7.
Mukavat ja siistit huoneet, ja kyseessä oli muutenkin todella hyväkuntoinen hotelli. Sänky oli erittäin mukava ja sijainti varsin rauhallinen. Sijainti on kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta ja tärkeistä nähtävyyksistä.
Positiivisena erikoisuutena oli ”rehellisyysbaari”, josta sai itse tehdä drinkkejä ja maksu oli rehellisyysperiaatteella. Aamupala...
”Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and well appointed. Thankful we got moved to 1st floor as no lift and I have some mobility issues. A fan in room would have been a great addition as it was quite warm. And Leaving windows open brought in traffic noise from road out front. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.”

”What a lovely little guest house within walking distance to York city centre. Danielle was a lovely host who made sure everything was in order for us. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the fact that parking is included makes this place good value for money. The only thing worth noting is that the loft room is up 3 sets of stairs (the last one being a little steep) so bear that in mind if you have luggage or if you plan on doing the climb up the York Cathedral Tower tour...

”Don't drive, arrive by train and everything can be walked from here. Vibrant city centre location so can be noisy at night. Room standards vary from the amazing to the basic so worth paying more. 4* as we got a basic room night 1 but then they moved us to amazing room! Food and staff were really 5*.”

It’s a bit far from the city centre but totally walkable. Train station about 10 min walk away. It was a lovely stay overall, but very pricey.”

Only negative aspect was the really loud music playing in the lobby, which makes it quite annoying entrance everytime you return to the hotel. Luckily the sound insulation is top class and you can’t hear the music - or anything else for that matter - in the rooms. ”
