”Beautiful location and property very nice but can't believe there is no lift / elevator in the building.
Disappointing breakfast offering. Two breakfast buffet offerings advertised, continental £12.95 and hot £16.95 but on the first day there was no hot buffet. Hot food was ordered a la carte from the kitchen (plated) and price remained £16.95 regardless of what was ordered. Surely pricing should have been adjusted. Overall a very pleasant stay but if you're a senior or someone with disabilities...

”Everything was as usual really lovely. Unfortunately that Sunday happened to be the coldest and when l arrived the room was freezing cold. Staff tried their best to rectify the situation but to no avail.
After an hour or more Lady Den brought me an extra quilt so l can use. The lady was a God sent she managed to get the temperature to at least 17 and it made a real difference. Overall l ended up with a good night in a warm place. Staff are so helpful at The Hamilton Arms.”

”Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. The only problem I had was that drawing the curtains in my room was very challenging as the rings on the curtain pole didn’t glide smoothly and you had to wrench the curtain closed and open. Food was excellent and the room was quiet overlooking a peaceful garden. A good 4 out of 5.”

”We had a 1 hr wait for our room to be ready .spacious and clean but tatty and needing redecorating .wallpaper hanging off the walls shabby furniture.
Towels and bedding good.
below average standard.
Bank Holiday weekend booked fora spa weekend and the salon was shut the entire time of our stay. Disappointing.

”Extremely dog friendly, loved that the dog friendly rooms opened onto the courtyard garden (enclosed). The walks are beautiful/ stunning. Dogs welcome in the restaurants. Highly recommend.”

”From arrival to departure everything was perfect. Reception were great, checkin was smooth, we parked in the hotel multi storey, the rooms were lovely and comfortable especially the bed. We had a delicious breakfast. Will definitely use again.”
