”Aivan upea paikka ja loistava palvelu. Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. Korona-ajan hygieniasta huolehdittiin hyvin ja lämpö mitattiin kaksi kertaa päivässä. Ruoka erittäin monipuolista ja hyvää. Ehdottomasti täydet pisteet.”

”Amazing view of the ocean and beach from the room. Staff was very healthful even when the AC unit had to be replaced, which was somewhat of an inconvenience. However, the atmosphere, beach views and access, the amazing food, and the helpful staff made up for any issues. I wish that they had a system to charge amenities and food to the room to pay all at the end of the stay, but overall loved my stay.”

”This hotel promise more then can offer. They have no ocean view here at rooms. You think when you make a reservation, that you get a a/c room but no, all rooms have not a/c. Only fan. And then you must pay more money here to get a room with old and poor a/c. Shower is hot but the showerhead was broken. Security are good here. Breakfast you must pay more. Wifi signal was weak and tv not work. But it is quiet place and small swimminpool was nice and cool. Shoppinmall are near and few...

”Very nice bars,specially beach one. Breakfast nothing special. Nice restaurant opposite of the road. Stayed in 4 different during the trip in Kenya and all had problems with satellite channels-also here. Are there different laws of physics in Kenya than for example in Asia and Europe?”

”There are no elevators so you walk up the stairs with your luggage. There is no shower head, only a handheld shower with the thinnest of water to shower with. Breakfast was…. very regular at 1-star level. It’s not worth the cost! ”

”As expected given the price this is far from an upmarket area. The rooms were small but clean. Initially I was given a not very nice room with an ensuite that was more like an alcove with no shower but was fortunately moved to a better one. We had to navigate building works to get into the property and then walk on a raised wooden walkway. The place was clean and the staff pleasant and helpful”

”This was the worse experience I have ever had! We checked in on Saturday. Shortly after a few hours, where I discovered there was no hot water and one of the ACs were broken, we lost complete power. After 2 hours of the host asking us to wait in the dark, I decided to leave and check into another hotel. The whole time I was in the dark, the host kept reassuring me, the power would come back on. After leaving the place, the owner refused to give me refund claiming he did not know I left, when I...

”Booked and paid through expedia, made 9 calls to the host without a response while waiting outside the apartments..An hour later, the host called me to say the apartment was double booked...Taken me a few days for my money to be returned. Expedia should ban such hosts that are fraudulent ...This is typical behaviour of hosts in Mombasa who are ruining the tourism industry in the area..”

”First it is not a hotel but studios. The amenenities are very old, the wall paper was peeling and the neighbourhood feels very insecure for a woman travelling alone. It is 1 km from the beach. There was a lot of noise in the corridors from the other occupants very early in the morning. Overall not the best option for solo travellers”
