”I stayed at Radisson Hotel and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the staff were polite and genuinely tried to help whenever needed. The breakfast was also good, with a decent variety and quality. However, the property itself feels quite old and poorly maintained. ”Perfect location! Less than 10 min walk to the Cardiff Central Railway Stsation a just crossing the street and you’re in the City Center shopping Center , loads of coffee shops , restaurants and less than 10min walk to the Castle. Being in Center , easy access to pick up points for day trips j. Clean , relatively new building, comfortable bed and pillows , huge room and the price not bad for such location”

”Unfortunately the restaurant was closed something that we were not told when we checked in. The bar food consisted of a 5 item menu only and food was not allowed to be taken to room. The area has no other restaurants within walking distance. The room was excellent but the facilities that were available were very poor.”

”The service of the staff was excellent and car parking is free. However, the plug sockets next to the bed required moving the bedside tables, so if you want to use any electrical devices whilst in bed, you had to use the sockets across the room. The toilet positioned in the room were too close to the wall and the handles to open the windows were loose and call fall out anytime. ”

”Great location, beautifully decorated room and good quality bedding, towels, toiletries etc. However .. our room (9) was TINY .. the gap on one side of the bed was approx 8 inches between the bed and the wall so very difficult to navigate safely particularly at night without stubbing your toe on the one side or bumping into to door handle on the other.
