”Just what we needed. The accomodations were as expected for the price. The breakfast was fantastic. The coffee was great. The staff was very helpful and recommended places to have dinner.”

”A little out of the way. Brand new as of 2026. They offered breakfast on Sunday morning of cold runny eggs, bacon, and a waffle maker. The dining area was large and comfortable. On Monday morning, no breakfast, which disrupted my plans. Everything in the room was fine. The pillows were overly soft. There was a refrigerator and freezer, hot stovetop and microwave. Everything was very new.”

”Annie was great checking us in and making recommendations for dinner. The room was dated but clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was only cereal, muffins, toast, and waffle. No option that was carbs/sugar. Overall great value for the price.”

”Clean room, staff very pleasant, Breakfast was okay just wish it was until 10am instead of 9am. Didn’t like having to get up early so missed breakfast most of the time. Lots of shops and outlets nearby”

”We got our key, went to the room and it wasn’t cleaned yet. Went back down to the desk, Alexander apologized, got us a new room and then walked us up to our room, it wasn’t cleaned either. Went went back down, Alexander got us another room and walked us back up to our new room and it was clean and nice. Alexander handles the situation like a complete pro, he should be at a luxury resort with his people skills. Just a fantastic person.”

”The staff stood out as everyone from the front desk to the housekeepers and the breakfast lady went out of their way to greet and ask about any concerns. The room amenities were a little disappointing, but the overall experience distanced that. I think you will pay much less than a full service hotel with their upgraded amenities, but the price difference equals or exceeds the slightly different amenities provided by a much more expensive hotel.”

”Front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean,spacious,and comfortable. Most of all, we LOVED the regular size pillows rather than the tiny squares in many other hotels. We slept late and on weekdays breakfast is served till 9:30 but we missed it. Highly recommend this hotel. Lobby smelled so good I had to ask what air freshener they were using!”

”The apartment is in a fantastic location next to the City Market, right next to tons of restaurants and cafes. The only downside of the location is that it is very loud at night, so you might want to bring ear plugs. The apartment is clean and well equipped with a small kitchenette that is good for making coffee and having a breakfast cereal or warming up a dish, not for any real cooking - which you shouldn't do anyway giving the amazing choice of restaurants in its vicinity. One hint: the door...

”The room fridge had mold, in the freezer section and the top shelf of fridge. A lot of mold, so wasn't a recent development. We recently stayed at the Wingate in Pooler, Ga and it was MUCH nicer hotel.”

”River Street Hotel was excellent. The location was great! Clean and spacious. Friendly staff. The bed was lumpy, bad pillows but comfortable enough for a few nights , for sure.. Easy to find this rental. The bar and restaurants do a good job keeping the area bustling. Love the area and the views.”
