”Overall it's a very nice historic hotel. Beautiful on the inside and breakfast was delicious. My only issue with it was the way the balcony was advertised. I was under the impression that everyone had access to the shared balcony space, but this wasn't the case. Only certain rooms on the 2nd floor did and we were put on the top floor, the 4th floor. When selecting the room from Expedia, it should have made it clear the rooms with access to the balcony and the rooms without access. Not sure how...

”Our stay was good but when we got to the hotel to check in they told us they didn’t have a room with a king bed, only two double beds. I was not at all happy. After being told several times “I’m sorry for the inconvenience” I told them I expected a large discount. ”The hotel staff was friendly & helpful. The hotel was clean & comfortable. It was quiet so we could sleep. The breakfast was ok. Not like most hotels with waffles and stuff. It had breakfast sandwiches, premade omelets, fruit, package oatmeal etc. the coffee, hot chocolate & tea are always available 24/7. The workout room was a good size with sufficient equipment l, it even has a scale & foam rollers! We would stay here again. ”

”The hotel was nicely updated and clean. The breakfast was very good as well. Only issue is one elevator was down and the other one was having problems so we had long waits and had to use the stairs a couple times. We decided to do the valet parking which was 45 a night thinking it’d be a little safer to use their garage- turns out they use the public parking across the street which is only 20 a day. ”
