”This place is truly lovely. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. I wish it had been warmer during our visit so I could have enjoyed the lovely pool. They may want to have a gentle conversation with the cleaning staff as the bathroom sink was full of dirty water when we arrived. I don’t get the impression that this is a serious issue with this hotel though, given the overall very good condition of the grounds and...

”We could not see the ocean from our balcony because of the dunes and trees. However, there is a great wooden raised walkway through the trees to the beach - maybe 2 minutes. From the shops and restaurants, it's about a mile back to the hotel along the beach. They also offer a free shuttle to/from anywhere on the island so you can shuttle into town and walk back. Don't miss driftwood beach! The staff at the hotel are all very friendly.”
