”Very clean, easy parking, nice neighborhood. Grocery store nearby, 25 min drive to downtown Savannah. Can be tough to find, can’t see the house number from the street so look for sign for the correct parking lot and need to walk between the houses to find the right one. Need to furnish your own dishwasher and laundry soap. ”

”Cute little one bedroom. Check in person was very curt. The maintenance person was more helpful to us.”

”The room was spacious and well appointed. There was not really a beach view from the room, unless you count a tiny sliver between buildings. Our room was on the second floor on the end closest to the lobby. Also, the picture showed a jacuzzi tube, but we only had stand up showers. The floors need to be better cleaned, as walking around without shoes on made the bottoms of our feet black. The restaurant was only open for dinner, and was not open on Sunday at all. ”Excellent location. Within walking distance to most sites in the historic district and seldom had to use our car. Free, gated, onsite parking during the stay saved an additional $50/day. Well equipped kitchen, full sized refrigerator and ample seating appreciated.”

”The cottage was like being at my grandmother’s house. Very warm and comfortable. I was on this trip with my mom, sister and daughter. Would love to stay here again, with my husband. We came here to go to Cumberland Island. This house is very convenient for the ferry. ”

”Very cute, clean, secure in a Great area, very walkable to all the sites in the historic and river districts. No onsite parking but the city parking garage was very close (And reasonably priced). ”

”It was a nice stay overall. We were hearing a child running through the ceilings which made our stay more interesting.”

”Poor water flow upstairs, downstairs toilet wasn’t working great. washing machine leaked (think the seal is worn on it) and filters for ac where not the greatest for air flow (my husband changed the one upstairs) and garbage around outside smelled really bad, but with the heat I know that doesn’t help. Overall we had a great experience and we would stay there again. ”

”What a beautiful house! It is obviously very old, but updated quite nicely. And it was so nice for almost every room to have its own bathroom. It is also a great central location - a short walk one way to the river and a short walk the other way towards Forsythe Park. Having a dedicated parking spot was also a plus. We would definitely stay here again!”

”Staff (minimal as it is) was very polite and helpful. Overall, the facility was nice, quite industrial, practical. The noises of the city were quite aggravating -- waste bins banging against each other (by people or trucks) were annoying; the screaming motorcycles were way too much. Several cars were also very noisy but nothing close to the motorcycles. The walk to our "apartment" was excessive -- especially when you have to load your own cart and push it all to the room. We aren't likely...
