”Located just a couple of blocks from the beautiful beach with an Irish pub Nextdoor. 3 stories and no elevator. The bed and pillows were comfy and our car did not get broken into while parked overnight in the hotel’s lot in back. This hotel is old but clean. The front desk is manned 8am to midnight.”

”If you get rooms 117 118 or 119 be prepared to have a noisy night. The security gate doesn't latch properly so you'll hear it slam. Also a long term tenent has a dog living with them. You'll hear that yipping and scratching around ”

”Good and basic motel. Location was convenient for us as it was right next to Chestnut for restaurants and bars, not too far from Fishersmans Wharf and right on Lombard which allowed easy access to the city with car. The room itself was big enough with fridge and microwave. WiFi was free but connection wasn't that good all the time. Free parking was nice and space was easy to have every night (stayed for a week). With the price we paid I'd definately recommend this place.”

”It was located near Tenderloin and Soma, and that is crazy place. Do not recommend for single travellers.”

”The room was dirty, we paid for parking and we ended parking on the street parking lot full we had a handicap parking and there was people parked without one. Told hotel staff and they didn’t care”

”Only 1 elevator was working so most people were using the service elevator. Front desk lady was rude. ”

”Beautiful historic hotel. We enjoyed the old photographs of San Francisco located throughout the hotel and the breakfast. We liked being across the street from Golden Gate Park. ”

”Pleasant experience with no hiccups. Only concern would be the mattress felt incredibly worn out with deep pockets in either side. ”

”*AVOID* Room has electricity issues management refused to assist disputing charges through both bank plus expedia. *Shady business practices?!*”

”It has good location on quiet street. Free parking. Excellent service on front desk. The hotel was dated, but pretty clean. Earplugs are must. Breakfast is free, it includes coffee, bread, eggs and cereals. The hotel bit pricey for value, but i think in SF it might be difficult to find good hotels for decent price. Overall this is OK place for few days stay ”

”The staff very welcoming! The place is clean and tidy, just dated but to be expected with a place that's been there for so long. It had everything we needed for our stay with our 2 young children. It's a awesome little vibe with beautiful flowers growing all around, we stayed in one of rooms further back from Lombard street, we felt safe and it was quiet. Great location to explore San Francisco- we'd definitely stay again ”
