”The cottage was clean, well appointed and made for a pleasant stay. It is in the heart of the village with food and coffee shops very close by, and just a short walk to the local pub. The beach is 10 minutes walk away, and Gullane is a lovely spot to explore from. ”

”We were surprised at how much bigger the lodge is when you’re inside . Very comfortable and everything we needed to enjoy our stay . We found that it was easy to get to all the places we visited. We would definitely return. ”

”Stable cottage is in a beautiful location a few miles from Berwick upon Tweed and the other attractions of the Scottish Borders and North East England. It is warm cosy and well equipped and so peaceful. A car is a must if you are staying here. We had a last minute problem with dates and Liz was so helpful is changing them for us. I would recommend this cottage and will definitely revisit. ”

”We were in town for the Race Across Scotland - crew stayed here throughout the week, and two of us who ran it were here after we finished. Was a close drive to Cocksburnpath, and to other surrounding areas. Great spot for 4 folks, and having laundry was a huge bonus. Lovely property.”

”The property is extremely clean and very comfortable. The double bed in particular. The road is very quiet and leads to the promenade passing the local Coop. Its easy to park at the top of the road free of charge. The lounge area is full of light and has a large comfortable corner sofa. I would definitely sray again and would recommend. I didnt like the lack of basic store cupboard items such as oil, salt, pepper or milk. There was tea, coffee and sugar. ”

”Beautiful little cottage with great sea/ harbour views. Solid fuel stove which blasted out plenty of heat, ideal for a winter visit. Fab cliff top walks and plenty choice regarding eating and drinking, either in village or nearby towns. We will return!”

”Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . Enjoyed 7 perfect days. Jan and Phill ”

”This place was lovely. Clean and bright. Instructions to get in and once inside were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the 3 bins of glass bottles, mostly alcohol bottles that were over flowing onto the ground outside the gate, in the parking lot. They were there the day we checked in , already overflowing and only got worse as we stayed for 4 days. They should look into that because otherwise this place was everything we wantes while on our vacation. Lovely!!”
