Welcome to Lunar Beach Bungalow- a single-level, 3-bedroom, 2-bath bungalow in a quiet Cocoa Beach neighborhood where you can walk to the beach in about five to ten minutes and walk to ice cream, restaurants, putt-putt, and a grocery store. The house (and beach at the end of the street) offer great rocket launch views!
The house is great for families and small groups of up to 6 guests - bring the kids and the dog! It offers 2 king bedrooms plus a third bedroom with a queen bed and a queen sofa bed in the living room, blackout curtains in every bedroom, and smart TVs in the living room and bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked to prepare full meals- stove, oven, dishwasher, cookware, coffee, tea, and other essentials. The screened porch is where most guests end up at some point during the day.
Outside, the fenced yard has a fire pit (local burn bans apply), a charcoal grill, lawn games, an outdoor shower for beach rinse-offs, and of course rocket-launch views. Well-stocked for easy beach days with plentiful, free beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, beach wagon, sand toys & more).
Guests will also enjoy complimentary access to The Riverfront Cocoa Beach, a community waterfront facility 2.2 miles away with a pool, unlimited kayak and paddleboard rentals, and riverfront seating. ❗ ️Important Considerations... let's be sure Lunar Beach Bungalow is the right fit for you and your group:
1. RENTAL AGREEMENT: Must sign agreement & provide ID within 48 hours of booking (or immediately if arrival is within 48 hours). Failure to sign will result in cancelation with applicable cancelation penalties.
2. Riverfront Cocoa Beach facility details:
• Located 2.2 miles from the home.
• Open daily from 10:00 AM–Sunset, weather permitting.
• Events, including live music, community gatherings, and private events, may take place during your visit. Some guests may enjoy these events, while others may prefer to plan around them.
• Portions of the facility, including the pool, kayaks, paddleboards, or other amenities, may occasionally be unavailable due to private events, maintenance, weather, or operational needs.
• Guests are encouraged to check Riverfront Cocoa Beach's socials for the most up-to-date information regarding events, hours, and any facility or amenity closures.
• No refunds are provided for facility or amenity closures.
• Guests must sign a waiver upon arrival.
• Pool is not heated.
• Pool seating is first-come, first-served.
• Cabanas and canopies are available to rent for an additional fee and are first-come, first-served.
• Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance by contacting the facility directly.
3. Occupancy: Max 6 persons at the home at any given time, including non-overnight guests. Persons = adults, children & infants.
4. Minimum Age: Primary renter must be 21+(or active military) & an occupant of the Property.
5. Transportation: Vehicle recommended although area is walkable & bikeable.
6. Fencing: Fully fenced yard, but small gaps may allow small or digging dogs to escape.
7. Fire pit: Available year-round but subject to local burn bans.
8. Dynamic Rates: Rates vary by date. Enter exact dates for accurate pricing.
9. Saturday Check-ins/Checkouts: Not available.
10. Pet Policy: DOGS ONLY. NO CATS or any other pets/ reptiles. Well-behaved, potty-trained dogs welcome with non-refundable fee of $25/ night/ dog (if not selected at time of booking, will be requested post booking). Must register in advance. See rental agreement for additional notes re: pet policies, including service animals.
11. Nature and Pests: This is Florida, so occasional bugs (especially palmetto bugs, mosquitos and no-see-ums) are part of coastal life. We spray and maintain regularly, but we can't promise zero encounters.
12. Home Age: Built in the 1960s and thoughtfully renovated, the home has character quirks (a creaky board or two, walls that have stories, small imperfections that may not be seen in photos) that are part of its charm. We flag it here so your expectations match the vibe.
13. Bicycles: Available to rent / optional to add post booking: $35/ adult bike & $20/ child bike for duration of stay based on availability & must sign separate waiver.
14. Smart Home/Security: Exterior cameras at entry door and driveway (NO interior cameras), noise monitor in hallway (decibels only), and Echo devices in living and bedrooms (can be unplugged).
