I cannot classify Westgate Cocoa Beach as a resort. The stay was extremely disappointing, and the property is poorly maintained.
Our room was in terrible condition:
Mattress of extremely poor quality — I had terrible back pain after just one night.
Bed sheets smelled bad and had strange marks, clearly not properly cleaned.
Shower facilities were mostly broken — only one worked, and it had low water pressure and no hot water.
TV was broken and the toilet overflowed.
During heavy rain, the resort closed all amenities and activities. While safety is understandable, there was no refund, no credit, and no alternative for guests. We had to leave one day early because the conditions made the stay uninhabitable.
To make matters worse, after departure, a staff member called me laughing, which is completely unprofessional.
For what they charge, this place delivers zero value, and it’s misleading to call it a “resort.” The poor room quality, broken facilities, and lack of guest support made this one of the worst stays I’ve ever had.
