”Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. ”

”Continental breakfast was good and staff were very helpful. The rooms are a bit outdated, stayed in a double room on the ground floor. And they do need to dust the furniture in the room. Bathroom was modern looking and clean like it had a refurbishment. Staying on the ground floor was a bit noisy at times with doors closing etc and hearing the bar and staff entrance door opening and closing. Overall good values for money and nice to have Co-op and Tesco nearby. Plus the Italian restaurant...

”Absolutely perfect stay cute little place, came as a surprise stay for boyf birthday. Probably booked somewhere else until I saw here an the other place wouldn’t decorate and the owner said I could here so booked to stay here instead it was lovely, cosy we arrived quite late so will have to come back and stay from the check in time to enjoy the views and relaxing vibe. Definitely will come back 5* an he loved the treat Thank you. Also it doesn’t have a tv and I know people choose these places...

”This place is fine, but not great. Whilst it has lots of character, the weak and unpredictable shower was a definite detractor for me, and the bed was oddly short so me feet were off the end. Rooms were well appointed, but a few dubious carpet stains made sure you knew they'd been occupied before.”

”Everything is done remotely, but it doesn't suffer for that. We were very pleasantly surprised by the place and it had a lovely view over the valley. Clean, modern and much more than adequate”

”All were fine and the room was really comfortable. The location was good, just in a walking distance from the station (railway/bus). I was sorry that I didn't read the check-in instruction, but the host was kindly admitting me when I arrived without a prior conversation. I really appreciate. ”

”There is no air conditioning. There were rats making sound biting through some board. There was loud noises of people running as I was given a room in the basement. Hardly used for 10 hours after booking the place for 2 days and no one would bother about the issue when raised. Only convenience is it's close to the train station and place of my work ”

Asunto oli saapuessani kylmä kuin ryssän helvetti, mutta onneksi sekä olo- että makuuhuoneessa oli lämpöpatterit, joilla asunnon sai vuorokaudessa siedettävän lämpöiseksi. Kylpyhuoneessa ei ollut mitään lämmitystä, joten lämpimiin pohjoismaisiin asuntoihin tottuneena palelin, vaikka oli vasta marraskuu. Asunto on mukavan tilava yhdelle tai kahdelle hengelle, hyvin varusteltu ja siisti, ja erittäin lähellä Huddersfieldin rautatieasemaa, joten tänne on helppo ja...
