Laglio: Bright two-room apartment with modern comforts on Lake Como

Welcome to the LAGLIO flat, located on the first floor of a building just a few minutes from the centre of Como. This bright and cosy two-room apartment is perfect for those who want a comfortable and refined stay in one of the most strategic areas for visiting Lake Como.

As soon as you enter, you are greeted by a large main room lit by a large window, which gives the room exceptional natural light. The living room is furnished with a double sofa bed (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared for your arrival, because we consider it correct that you can use the sofa during the hours not dedicated to sleep. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the cupboard/shelf closest to the sofa), ideal for accommodating two extra people, and a dining table that can comfortably seat four.

The modern, elegantly finished kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances for a carefree stay: coffee machine, kettle, oven, microwave oven, toaster, refrigerator and freezer. Behind the dining table, a canvas depicts Laglio, one of the most picturesque villages on Lake Como, adding an artistic touch to the ambience. Opposite the sofa, a piece of furniture provides storage and also houses a TV for relaxing moments.

The bedroom is furnished with a comfortable double bed and a spacious wardrobe, perfect for storing all your clothes and accessories.

The modern and functional bathroom is equipped with a private washer/dryer and a spacious shower decorated with watercolour-painted tiles, which add a touch of originality.

The flat also has a lovely balcony, furnished with a small table and chairs, where you can enjoy an al fresco breakfast or a glass of wine at sunset.

Quality bed linen, towels and a courtesy kit are provided.

We also leave a gift basket with the necessities for your breakfast.

Staying in the Lario Suite flats you are just minutes away from Villa Olmo and its park, and walking along the picturesque promenade you will reach the hangar (where seaplanes depart), the Tempio Voltiano and the Monumento ai Caduti. Stroll along the Diga Foranea (breakwater), reaching the modern artwork 'The Life Electric' by the famous Libeskind! Continue along the lakefront to Viale Geno, its park and villa. At the beginning of Viale Geno is the Funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants, or continue with a panoramic trek to the Lario mountains, with a break in one of the mountain huts you'll encounter along the way. A 30-minute walk or a few minutes by bus (bus stop below the flat) will bring you to the centre of Como and you can stroll through its cobbled streets, shops, bars and restaurants, churches and pretty squares. You will admire the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvellous cathedral and its Broletto, both worth a visit; Piazza San Fedele, a pretty little square with the Romanesque basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most famous streets for shopping; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner al fresco dining all year round; Porta Torre, one of the historic entrances to the walled city. In just a few minutes you arrive in Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat to the most famous places on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna).

How to get there:

By car: From the A9 motorway take the "Como - Monte Olimpino" exit at the first roundabout take the first exit and continue on "Via Bellinzona". At the second roundabout take the second exit. In 4 minutes you will be in front of the flat, which is on the left hand side. By public transport: When you arrive at the "Como San Giovanni Station" go to the stop "Como - S. Ronchetto" and take the bus N.1 direction "Como-Recchi" for 7 stops and get off at the stop "Como- Roncate (Villa Aprica)". there you will find yourself in front of the flat. Or you can walk to the "Como Lago Station", walk to the stop "Stazione Lago" and take the bus N.7 direction "Como- lungolario trento", get off after 10 stops at the stop "Como - Ceresio (Bixio)". From there in 5 minutes walk you will be in front of the flat.
