”Had a great stay at the Angel and Blue Pig! The room was spotlessly clean and right by the street, which worked well for me. The staff were genuinely welcoming, really friendly and helpful throughout. The breakfast was excellent. What I loved most was the cozy communal area with a beautiful fireplace. ”The property is a period house and the owner Chris has kept it to that style, very clean with a excellent breakfast cooked to perfection by Chris with a wide and varied choice of food. Whitwell is a designated dark sky area with some very pretty houses lots of thatched roofs,the local pub is only a few minutes walk and well worth a visit,the food is excellent. I would definitely recommend a stay at Kingsmede ,it fulfilled all my wife and I hopes”
