”The breakfast times could have been later, as finished at 9am on Monday. The bar was supposed to close at 11pm but was closed by 10.15pm. The rooms were basic and shower not powerful. However, were clean and still had everything that was needed. Lots of choice of food and drink and fresh.”

”This is our second stay here. It's in a great position, close to Stratford but quiet, lots of outdoor space for the dog and lots of parking. The hotel is very dog friendly, staff, rooms, restaurant. Treats available and great dog menu option. As far as the decor is concerned, the hotel is clean but the decorating and finish leaves much to be desired. Although it's freshly painted, holes and cracks aren't filled, plaster patches aren't sanded... The final touch let's them down. The only problem...

”From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. A rare find these days”

”This location was unusually nice. Yes, the rooms are above a pub, but it was very quiet, at least while we were there. The staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is a bit of a walk, down the street at the local race track, which has a very secure locked gate to their lot. It was included in the price and wasn't an issue for us. The breakfast was extra special. A wide variety of items to choose from. I would return just to sit and have breakfast again. Extremely pleasantly surprised by...

”The parking was good, off from the road, car was secure. The hostess was great, and very friendly. Room and bathroom could have been cleaner, dust all over the covered garbage bin in bathroom, huge cobweb in corner, and large peeling area on wall of bathroom. Large cobwebs at top of one window. No electrical outlet by beds, major frustration because husband uses CPAP machine to sleep. Continental breakfast was good, lots of fruit. Temperature of water hard to control in shower. No washcloths...

”The room was well decorated and clean. Two fans were provided which were welcome as the stay was in a heatwave. Good supply of tea, coffee etc and bathroom products. Adequate parking. Very good service at breakfast, food was quick and good. Staff friendly.”

”The hotel is a great hotel situated well for all the sites in Stratford. My concern and found it unbelievable that they ask you to help out with the planet and participate in using towels sensibly and I think that is great, but the bathroom towel rail is on 24/7 and in a heat wave as it was when we stayed it is very very uncomfortable, I asked at reception but unfortunately can’t be turned off in any of the rooms. CRAZY”
