”This is a reasonably priced basic motel so it doesn’t have a lot of amenities but it does have a well cared for property and is a very clean and comfortable place to spend the night. It was a good place to take our dog with a nice large backyard area. We enjoyed the quick check-in and checkout arrangement which didn’t need in person staff although they were available by phone. ”This was exactly what my family and I needed to have a wonderful stay in the U.P. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed (washer/dryer were so nice to have also!!)We enjoyed fishing on the dock (caught quite a few fish) and my kids even completed a puzzle to kill some time in the evening. There weren’t really any neighbors during our time there, which made for a quiet and peaceful stay. Only complaint the amount of mosquitoes outside the cottage. ”Simple, cozy place with the essentials. I had no cell phone service, but they do have good wifi service. So you can still be connected if you choose to be, while being remote enough for a quiet, peaceful stay surrounded by nature. It was perfect as a homebase while exploring the UP.
