”A good option for a family visiting Durham University or, as we did, attending a graduation ceremony. Only a 20-minute drive from the centre of Durham, but cheaper than staying centrally in Durham. Friendly staff, good full English breakfast. We had a room that slept 4 people, which looked relatively recently renovated with ensuite shower and toilet. Shower was good.”

”was able to park just in front of stable room work is in progress at the property so didnt look its best on the outside,inside was fab we had everything we needed plus extras like fridge ,toaster,microwave plenty of plates mugs dishes good drinks making equipment,single beds were comfy and spotless,tv was a bit confusing but we managed in the end,we had a lot of noise on the 2 nd evening and early morning could have been the workmen🙄 the royal oak pub is extremely welcoming drinks and meals...

”Our room had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable & shower hot & powerfull. We ate on two nights - the food was very good & service quick. The only thing we didn't like was the peas which we both left. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. We had eggs florentine & the full cooked breakfast. The breakfast manager was very friendly & very good at his job. We wouldn't hesitate to book again & will hopefully return someday soon. Extremely handy having the bus stop right...
