”Fasano Angra dos Reis delivers on the luxury experience. The rooms are excellent and the facilities - sauna, steam room, indoor and outdoor pools are top tier. The one area that falls short: food options. For a resort this remote (and this caliber), two restaurants and a café isn’t enough. The main restaurant is Italian and genuinely good, but there’s no variety, minimal healthy or gluten-free alternatives, and given the location, you’re not really leaving the property for meals. ”Our 4th stay at MGallery and it doesn’t disappoint due to the helpful staff, cosy rooms, pool and excellent food. Santa Teresa’s a lovely oasis in Rio’s suburbs, yet within easy reach of all its attractions.”

”The service was superb. Property shows some wear after 10 years. Pool wasn’t heated as should be. Location is great and the simple but efficient beach service is a nice touch. Hopefully I’ll come back next year.”

”It is a boutique hotel, staff is super friendly, views from the room and pool are unbeatable. Food was good as well. Cons are the beach area is the beginning of Ipanema beach, not the safest and cleanest (I lived in Rio for 10 years). Price was a bit too high but they upgraded us to an amazing room, which was a way to feel you are getting more for your money.”

”I have stayed here many times. I have had issues with the cleanliness of the room twice. The bed sheets smelled like sweat, I had to put a towel over the sheets just to sleep. In addition to the smell of sweat, the bed sheets were also humid with a wet sensation to them. The bathroom also had that same smell of sweat.”
