”We felt that every aspect of the hotel was very well maintained. Our check in went smooth, Matthew the front desk clerk was very helpful and gave us some great advice and information. The breakfast both days was excellent and the food was very good. Our room was well stocked, clean and comfortable. Checked out with no problems and we look forward to seeing you again. ”
”Wonderful stay. Dinner was excellent. We enjoyed the tours especially the family history tour. Our room was clean. Unfortunately the outlets on either side of the bed were not working(3 out of 4 outlets weren’t working). Fortunately my wife and I both travel with extension cords and could plug in our CPAP’s elsewhere. We complained about it each morning but it did not get fixed. ”
”Super clean and well designed room! Perfect for a romantic getaway in Stowe. Close enough to all the shops and restaurants that we were able to walk everywhere we wanted with no issues. Front desk staff was super sweet and helpful when we arrived and checked out. Can’t wait to be back for ski season!”

”Max’s Roost was lovely! Clean, bright. It feels more like an AirBnB because there isn’t an in-person reception, but the communication was good and effective. There is a nice organized binder in the room to answer any questions you might have. My only warning is the bedframe is VERY creaky. If you turn over, it’s going to creak—very loudly. It’s alarming. Otherwise, it’s comfortable. At the restaurant below (which we highly recommend), some sort of mechanical noises started somewhere between...
”The room was spacious, clean, quiet and the refrigerator and microwave helpful. Beds were very comfortable and the staff very hospitable. Loved that the room had both outside and inside door. We were disappointed that the hot tubs were outside as it rained while we were there so we could really enjoy a soak. Breakfast was hot but somewhat disappointing especially as I could not find any decaf coffee and the water pitcher was empty and there was no one in the kitchen to refill it for me. Loved...
