This property had great views looking across Penn Cove to Mt Baker and the Cascades. Birds dabbled in the water right in front of the house. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen had a lot of utensils. However, we had several issues, caused mainly by poor communication/lack of information, that detracted from our experience. A manual with instructions for working the heaters, TV, wifi, etc., would have helped greatly, but there was none. The check in email named an incorrect wifi network, necessitating a call to Vacasa. We had specifically chosen this location as the Expedia listing description stated it had cable TV. After being unable to locate the cable, we called Vacasa and was told there was no cable and furthermore the Vacasa site listing (as opposed to the Expedia listing) did not say there was cable so there was nothing they could do. Later, we discovered that the TV in the bedroom did indeed have cable, although the living room TV did not. The listed DVD player was not found though.
When it was time to leave, I was unable to find check out information, other than the check out time. But after starting up the dishwasher, I found that the confirmation email, the one sent at the time we reserved the site, stated that the dishwasher did not work. There was no sign or indication in the house that it did not work. That necessitated another call to Vacasa and quickly cancelling the dishwasher cycle.
