”This is a lovely hotel. We had a room in the Pole Barn which had its own outside seating. The seating here could do with being a wee bit more comfortable, but it was a nice touch. The room was small but very well-designed - controllable temp and lighting, a fridge and a great bathroom. The restaurant was lovely - big, airy and stylish. The food was excellent adn the main bonus was the staff -friendly and helpful without fail.”
”Light bright rooms, overlooking fields with castle & sea in the distance. Plenty of parking at front of building. Sraff extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice both cold & cooked. There is an onsite cafe adjouning hotel which was ideal. They served hot & cold dishes, variety of sandwiches, cakes, puds etc. It is open 24/7 & used by passersby on A1.
Very central for trips to Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne etc.
We would definitely recommend & will be making a return jorney...
”Had a really great 2 night stay. Room was lovely, so comfortable. It was a great period style - but still provided for today’s needs - great wi-if, large shower, plenty of sockets. Ellen looked after us really well and couldn’t do enough for us. As for the breakfast - superb! Great choices and didn’t need lunch! ”
