”Great location for pubs, tourist things but run down and very dated. Carpets were dirty and stained but bed was comfortable. Staff were helpful but both key cards failed so locked out of room. Coffee/ tea amenities lacking and inconsistent. Shower over bath a bit awkward. ”

”The staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to be helpful. The Inn had a lovely cosy feel and a menu to match. We met friends there and we were all similarly impressed. The beds were extremely comfortable too!”

”We didn't have breakfast. The room was clean and beds comfy, but the shower was very weak and kept falling forward so difficult to use. The pool is warm and usually nice but a large group of teenagers took over the pool and we had to leave as my daughter became anxious. Previously we have enjoyed the pool.”

”Great location less than a mile away from the M5 and off the main road. Wonderful guy on reception who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy. We decided to go into nearby Thornbury to grab something to eat. The bed was really comfy and we had our buffet breakfast in the Marco Pierre White restaurant in the hotel which kept us full for the drive home.”

If all Hotels had staff so nice every one would have no complaints . David and the receptionist staff brilliant and the lady in charge of the restaurant and breakfast room all staff First class .”
