”Great location, nice clean rooms and very comfy large bed, I would say just the bathroom probably needs a renovate , it was quite dated and old compared to rest of room! ”

”We stayed three nights at the Hotel Square in Tomintoul. Although this is an older facility which could use a few updates to rugs, curtains, etc., we were very happy there. The hotel is clean, beds are super comfortable and the rooms are large and supplied with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good! Most importantly, the staff was friendly and helpful, providing great service. We had a lovely stay!”

”We loved our stay here! Mark was so kind and attentive. The food was lovely, the room incredibly clean and tasteful. Mark had recommended we go to Delaney’s (just a 3 min walk down the road) which was delicious. He also encouraged us to take the bus up to Loch Morlich, which I highly recommend! We hope you’ll enjoy staying here as much as we did ☺️”

”Friendly and welcoming staff. Unexpected room upgrade upon arrival which was wonderful. If you want charm in a beautiful Highlands locale along the whisky trail, this is it. Dinner was incredibly delicious in the hotel's dining room. Their chef is out of this world. Bar has every whisky known to man ... kidding of course, but they are well stocked and knowledgeable. We stayed one night and wished we had booked a longer visit. It was meant to be a stop on our way out of a two day drive through...

” I booked 3 lodges for family and friends for my daughter’s 40th birthday. We all loved our stay, despite the weather. The lodges were clean, comfortable and very spacious. Grandchildren had a brilliant time with the outdoor space, swimming & dry sledging. Would have loved more time but we will certainly be back as there is so much we haven’t done. Local people & shop staff were very helpful and friendly.”
