”Great house in the middle of the fields. You have everything you need. We didn’t use kitchen tools but it seemed to be fool. we used the fireplace as an attraction although it was not so cold these days it was great for an evening together. the bed is uncomfortable with a spring mattress. the sewerage and ventilation in the shower worked poorly. 10/10 for accommodation atmosphere and cleanliness.”

”Forgan Cottage was a great place to stay for the four of us on our golf trip to St Andrews. Facilities were clean and well cared for. Location is excellent - if you want to walk you are within 15 minutes of just about everything of significance in St Andrews. While no onsite parking - there is ample free parking nearby. Patricia was a great host - always communicated clearly and promptly during the booking and stay. Beds were comfortable and rooms well furnished. Forgan will nicely support...

”This was such a special place. The hosts were so thoughtful and kind. We enjoyed this large beautiful space and treasured our hot tub moments listening to the wildlife at night. The location was perfect for our explorations across the middle if Scotland. ”

”When we first arrived the cottage had that old house/cottage musty smell so opened ALL the windows. Bedrooms were nice except I found a blanket in a wardrobe with, I think, dog hairs on it. We love dogs but maybe a notice to say they were for dogs and perhaps washed before next visitors, a small thing for us but maybe not for some others. ”Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. ”Holmlea cottage is the perfect Base to visit the Edinburgh area and the highland region arround perth. The cottage was very clean and we loved the antiques inside. Freuchie is a perfect Base to visit the region, to visit Edinburgh by train also, next rail station is very close. Hosts are so kind and communication was easy and quick, we can write only best and positive feed back. Thanks for that great vacation time.”
