”Pleasant and efficient receptionist. Clean, spacious room. Parking was easily sorted. Good night's sleep, peaceful and comfortable as fan in the room. Won't buy a breakfast beforehand again online as it would have been much cheaper if bought when arrived there with the room offer.”

”Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.”

”The property was really well located, checkin quite early, with no problem from there side. The room was really clean, bed was good, bathroom had everything and loved the shower. Tom was really helpful, informative, gave us a bit of history of the building, which was fascinating. Included Breakfast was simple, but very good, and you could have ordered from the kitchen at an extra cost. Will definitely recommend.”

”Spent one night at the hotel. It is located in a cute small town. There is a good car park and the hotelarea is beautiful. The room was OK size, but could use an update. The pub was nice and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful :)”

”As we didn’t book direct with the hotel our evening meal wasn’t included. That wasn’t a problem as you could dine in any of the restaurants for £30 per head. Traveller’s be aware though if you didn’t want to dine in there was no other food purchase options available after 4pm. They don’t offer room service either. The grounds are extensive and it’s not possible to walk to anywhere. Take snacks with you as there is a fridge available in the room.”

”Very quirky old hotel with a lot of history to the hotel as well. Staff were very helpful and courteous and were a joy to deal with. Public areas could do with some attention as there were evidence of dust and cobwebs visible during our 5 day stay. No one paying attention to it except for someone writing dust with their finger to highlight the fact. Obviously it was being observed by others! Some tlc to the decor needed although the bedroom we stayed in was quite pleasant. We did enjoy our stay...
