Positives: So we originally were supposed to check in Saturday, but ended up coming a day early. I booked two different reservations, and they were quick and very helpful about putting them together, and not making me have to go back down to check in the next morning. Breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast, but still good nonetheless with smiling breakfast attendants, beds were comfortable, room was clean, and the hottub was nice.
Negatives: we came for a weekend softball tournament and due to weather it got cancelled (obviously not the hotels fault) so we did unfortunately have 6 little girls bored going from room to room. We came back from main event about 5, and got a call telling us we'd be kicked out if our kids continued to run. No warning nothing, just a threat. I understand wanting to have other guests comfortable. But it wasn't even MY child running, but other kids, as she was with me the whole time we came back from main event. When we went to talk to the front desk associate she told us what room it was, and it was nowhere even near our room, and like I said prior my daughter was with me the whole time the complaint came to us. We didn't appreciate being accused when it wasn't even our kid, and there were several other kids running the hall....
We come to the Duncanville area frequently for tournaments and usually stay at the Hampton and wanted to give this one a try, we'll definitely go back to the Hampton, after that incident, other wise we enjoyed the stay.
