”You better ask for one of the rear units because the front one is practically in the middle of the road. It’s noisy. It’s dingy, the owner refused to let us check in an hour early, which actually worked out in our favor since we didn’t want to stay there after we saw the place. We asked to move to a rear unit. The answer was no. We didn’t ask for a refund. We just went and booked another room and left this place empty for the night. There are so many other nice places to stay in this area. I...

”The Nest at Hawk Ledges was a perfect summer getaway. The home provides comfort in a tranquil setting while being close enough to many summer adventures. We enjoyed relaxing in the bright, open home after taking many day trips to explore the area. What a gem!”

”Clean, great location, great host, easy check in. It had everything we needed!”

”Can’t say enough good things about this place! Very clean. The hosts were wonderful and responded quickly to all my questions. We had everything we could’ve possibly needed and more. The beds were great, the couch and throw blankets so cozy. Fully equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. And the view off the balcony…heaven! Also took advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub and they were great. Can’t wait to go back!”

”Great location!”

”Great property, with all the amenities. We arrived in the summer and loved how close it was to hiking trails and the town”

”The room was spacious and the kitchenette was nice. We took advantage of the hot tub and laundry facility. The property is older but well kept and clean. We enjoyed our stay and the communication for check in etc was excellent!”

”The property is very close to the Sachem trail (an easy 2-minute walk through the parking lot). There is not a lot of sound insulation and the upstairs neighbors were very noisy for the first half of our stay. Kitchen is well stocked and everything was in good working order. However, the bunk room is really a very small glorified closet (which you have to walk through to get to the laundry) without a working door that closes. That would be an issue for anyone hoping to put the kids to bed and...

”The main reason for booking this place was the animals and the option to reserve a trail ride or private yoga class. I message the host, Patty several days before our arrival to schedule in advance. Patty never got back to me with a day & time for the trail ride and yoga class. In fact, I messaged her 2x and even though she responded to my messages before our arrival and during our stay she claimed not to have seen my message. On the second day of us being there, she responded with “sorry didn’t...

”Room was totally as described, very clean and comfortable. We like being able to walk for food and drink and there was plenty of options nearby. We'd definitely stay here again.”
